Do Marmots Make Good Pets?

The answer is no, but if you hike up to subalpine areas you'll find them basking in the sun on warm summer days. As I was looking through my camera at the rock just infront of Ice Lake, this marmot appeared and began chirping in our direction. I think he wanted his photo taken.
